Just got back from a quick recce during a lull in the wind when the sun came out. So far, I think Finings Wood has got off lightly.

I saw one large Oak that has snapped off at 25ft leaving the trunk upright and intact, a large Cherry down and an Alder bush across the bridleway. Loads of small limbs and branches are strewn across the footpaths but not the devastation that could have been. Has Eunice finished playing now?
