The next Finings Wood meeting is at Cadmore End Village hall it follows on from the 7 recent walks and talks. At the meeting, 2 guest speakers, experts in community woodland will be speaking and fielding questions about the proposal that Lane End should purchase Finings Wood. Here are 4 good reasons to start with.

This Wednesday all are welcome for meet at 10.00am at the Lane End Surgery for a walk and talk in Finings Wood. With permission from the owner we shall be taking in corners of Finings Wood that you don't usually see. This woodland ought to be owned by the parish and there are many reasons why, come along and find out. There is another walk and talk on Saturday at the same time if you can't make it on Wednesday and here is a picture of a group from last weeks walk including one of our Parish Councillors.  A good effort from the Conservation Group this morning. All the posts and bearers holding these railway sleepers were replaced making the walkway safe to cross again. Our action days are always the first Saturday of the month, see the Clarion news for further details.
