What a walk! wowsers!

85 Walkers, 2 donkeys, vistas and views for days, loads of burgers eaten, bacon rolls and cakes galore!  What an event we had for our first proper fundraiser of this group.  We cannot thank everyone enough.

Also -WHAT IS A LOG-OMETER?
Witnessed by the walkers at the Village Hall today, Alastair and Paul are fixing the first slice onto the Log-ometer, recording the donations and grants that are being sought for the purchase of Finings Wood. This slice of beechwood represents the £20,000 now in the bank. It`s screwed down and it ain`t coming off! Thank you to all our supporters for the confidence you have shown by donating towards this huge community project.
