Caroline stores this data in a password protected environment and we only use it to contact you after the form has been filled in, and then if you have given permission, to keep in contact via email to advise of any upcoming events, or research etc., We hate spamming and do not advocate this in our company. We do not sell your data to any company. We also store gift aid forms for reporting purposes.

If you make a donation or purchase via PayPal, we will see your email address, and will add this to our files for us to thank you kindly. We will also ask if you are happy for us to add you to our email list.
ICO
Caroline owns Sound Solutions Marketing (SSM), who have provided and maintain this website, and store our form entries in their office files. SSM has a licence from the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) to hold this information securely. If at any time you wish your form entry data to be removed, simply send us a request via our contact page and we can action this for you.
The ICO issues a data protection certificate to SSM with a registration reference of Z603692X. The certificate can be viewed here.
Research for funds:
As a fundraising organisation, we undertake in-house research and from time to time may engage specialist agencies [such as Prospecting for Gold] to gather information about possible doners from publicly available sources, for example, Companies House, the Electoral Register, company websites, ‘rich lists’, social networks such as Linkedin, political and property registers and news archives.
We may also carry out wealth screening to fast track the research using our trusted third party partners.
You will always have the right to opt out of this processing.
We may also carry out research using publicly available information to identify individuals who may have an affinity to our cause but with whom we are not already in touch. This may include people connected to our current major supporters, trustees or other lead volunteers. We also use publicly available sources to carry out due diligence on donors in line with the charity’s Gift Acceptance Policy and to meet money laundering regulations.
This research helps us to understand more about possible donators as individuals so we can focus conversations we have with them about fundraising and volunteering in the most effective way, and ensure that we provide them with an experience as a donor or potential donor which is appropriate for that person. If you would prefer us not to use your data in this way, please contact us asking us to opt out
